And as we’re part of Vodafone, you’ll get the fast, reliable network you need at home and abroad.
Benefits of VOXI
VOXI, on the other hand, sells new and refurbished handsets with no upfront cost, with repayments made with PayPal Credit over a fixed 30-month period. Customers also have to buy a VOXI SIM-only deal, but as they only run on rolling one-month contracts, you can choose to leave VOXI at any time and get a SIM-only deal with another provider because your phone credit is with PayPal, not VOXI.
Vodafone regularly runs promotions on recently launched devices and includes various freebies in its plans (known as Xtras), like expanded roaming and data boosters. Vodafone also offers other products, such as broadband, laptops, and other hardware, whereas VOXI keeps things simple, focusing on phones and SIM-only deals.
Voxi Data and speed limits
VOXI uses the same network, so you might assume that their data and speed offerings would be exactly the same, but there are a few differences. Both offer the same access to Vodafone’s 3G, 4G, and 5 G networks (assuming your device is 5G compatible), and both are subject to the same traffic management policy, but the details vary with each provider and the plan you choose.
VOXI boasts unlimited data usage in the UK for the social media apps Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, and Facebook Messenger with all its SIM-only plans. It used to offer unlimited streaming of video apps TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Amazon Prime Video, and Netflix, but that’s no longer the case.
VOXI Packages Plans
SIM Only Deals
In the UK, VOXI offers one-month rolling SIM-only plans. These plans are Pay As You Go, so there is no need for a contract or credit check.
Unlimited Social Media Plans
You can get unlimited social media on VO XI’s price plans from £10 per month. Gives you unlimited data for use in selected social media apps, including Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
Unlimited Data for using certain things
With a conventional mobile plan, every time you do something that uses the internet on your phone, it comes out of your monthly data allowance. But VO XI was set up to offer something different:
Depending on the deal you pick, you’ll be able to use certain apps and services without using any data at all. It’s effectively a separate unlimited data allowance reserved for particular usage.
So, if you’ve ever put your phone down because you were worried about data usage, you no longer have to. There’s Unlimited Social Media, Music, and Video. Some plans get you all three.
They’re all convenient benefits. In this guide, we explain what each covers, how much data you can save, and what limitations exist.
VOXI Mobile
VO XI Mobile is a mobile network for young people. It offers plans that let you use selected social, music, and video apps in the UK as much as you like without eating into your general data allowance. Customers also have unlimited calls and texts. VO XI SIM-only plans work on a flexible monthly subscription with no contract; you’re free to change, pause, or cancel your plan whenever you like.
After last year’s success, we’re thrilled to partner again with KISS to find the UK’s next big Dance DJ through KISS Chosen One. We believe in providing young people with unique opportunities and experiences, and this competition is a fantastic platform to give aspiring DJs a chance to showcase their skills and earn a spot at KISS events worldwide.

Voxi network speeds
VO XI claims that its 5G speeds average 150-200Mbps and top at around 1Gbps. That’s in line with Vodafone’s claims, which makes sense since Vodafone owns and operates VO XI.
And while we don’t have any data on VO XI’s 5G speeds, we do have some on Vodafone’s, which are likely to be similar.
So, on that front, a report from Opensignal in September 2023 found that Vodafone’s average 5G download speed was a not-especially-impressive 114.3Mbps.
Similarly, a RootMetrics report covering the second half of 2023 found that Vodafone’s median 5G download speed was 158.3Mbps. The same report found that Vodafone’s 95th percentile 5G download speed (meaning in the top 5% of speeds recorded) was 401.8Mbps, and its 5th percentile 5G download speed (so in the bottom 5%) was 11.6Mbps.
Before that, a 2020 RootMetrics report found a maximum 5G download speed of 545.6Mbps for Vodafone.
There’s also Speedtest data from the second half of 2023, which found that Vodafone had a median 5G download speed of 141.71Mbps.
This is a significant upgrade on Vodafone’s 4G speeds, which average 22.4Mbps according to Opensignal data from October 2020. Older data is being used because recent reports don’t include 4G speeds.
